Waterbury Hospital Health Center
forms the cornerstone of the Greater Waterbury Health Network. It is
accredited by The Joint Commission on the Accreditation of Healthcare
Organizations. "The Joint Commission" is a not-for-profit, acute care teaching
hospital offering complete inpatient and outpatient services.
Several community-based,

Network. These include nursing care, oxygen respiratory and
intravenous services for the home and skilled nursing facilities;
community-based blood drawing stations; affiliated primary care
practices and occupational health.
The Network also
features the region's largest, most comprehensive outpatient center
for physical, occupational and speech therapy.
As the health care needs of the community change,
TThe
Greater Waterbury Health Network
continues to evolve and grow to meet those needs in the most
appropriate settings.
