Pack
ahead so your suitcase is ready. Suggestions to pack include:
nightgowns (Those that are suitable for breastfeeding, if you decide
to breast feed), a robe, a nursing bra, slippers, going-home
clothes, hair brush, deodorant, toothbrush and toothpaste, glasses
or extra contact lenses and a camera.
The Hospital will supply diapers, wipes, t-shirts and blankets for
your baby. Formula is also provided during your hospital stay if you
choose to bottle feed your baby. Items to pack for the baby include:
an outfit for picture taking, a baby book to record events, a light
blanket and a car seat. Please make sure you have installed your car
seat prior to your baby's arrival so you have a safe ride home.
How many visitors can I have after
delivery? What are visiting hours?
We are a family focused unit and encourage family members to visit.
Visitors, siblings and family members are encouraged to come during
day time hours. After 8:00 PM we reserve time for only the parents
and baby to bond and rest. Fathers are encouraged to spend the night
and actively participate in their baby's care. |
